Gnomosapiens sent us a great concept art for the miniature. Today Heriberto Valle will be sculpting the Mecha Kiwi. Heriberto is a great friend and a 3D modeling pro. Play Kiwi Chow Down in Tabletopia
Some of you have been asking us about the next strategies to gain more visibility for the campaign. We'll run new ads, and next week we expect new reviews. As an addition, Double Exposure, a specialized company in playtesting, will run a Play-to-win Event in Tabletopia. We believe the new efforts will push more Kiwi fruit for feeding the Kiwi Chow Down!

The Dodos riding Dinos Crossover
In this votation, there isn't much to say. Nobody doubts that Oberndorfer and The JJJ's were the most popular choice for being fed and pushed. So, welcome to Kiwi Chow Down!

This is a free card that we are including for your community goals achieved that will allow you to play with Oby & JJJ miniature from Dodos Riding Dinos in Kiwi Chow Down.
The new miniatures
In the other push, this was a tough one! There were 3 strong competitors, they performed their best push, and the podium finish in the following way:
The results were very tight! So we will include two of these!
Gelatinous Kiwi was the most popular so we will have that as a stretch goal (funding-based) with the miniature and card included. And the second place, Mecha Kiwi piloted by a Chicken will be the one unlocked once we beat the 2541 backer count (War for Chicken Island's backer count) which fits perfectly for the theme.
The next step is for Gnomosapiens to draw more polished sketches and we'll show them very soon! As we promised, next Sunday could have a big surprise!
Finally, Who knows?, that Moa looked like a Kiwi riding something dinofruitastic! Maybe when we do the votation for the Kiwi riding Dino miniature, it could have another chance!
Stretch Goal unlocked!
We are recovering speed and we expect next week to be a good one with some new adverts in motion on social media from our community team.
We just unlocked 3 new Season cards to get different objectives and more replayability and also the season board will have a material upgrade, from regular cardstock to cardboard with linen finish.
The next stretch goals were split in smaller amounts so next we have new power cards AND an alternate leader ability plus art that we will be creating together with you, we love involving you in the development of our games and it is one of the many perks of joining us on Kickstarter!

Hi Kiwi Tribe!
We've received the sketches from Gnomosapiens Art Studio. Ivan Escalante's team, as always, did a wonderful job. Our team already knows the proposal that stole our heart. But we want to hear your voice, so please take a look at the following options and vote for your favorite in the main comment section!
We're looking for the best concept, since these are just rough sketches. The most popular will advance to the next step to get a more polished concept.
A - A wooden kiwifruit full of chicken warriors (inspired by Trojan Horse)
B - Mecha Kiwi piloted by a chicken from Chicken Island
C - Mecha Moa piloted by a Kiwi (equivalent of Mecha Chicken Dragon piloted by Chickens)
D - Brahma Rooster - Just as kiwi grow in size, this chicken is one of the largest brood of chickens in real life
E - A Kiwi-Chicken hybrid who knows how to live in Kiwi Island and in Chicken Island
F - Gelatinous Kiwi (Inspired by Gelatinous Cube) Non related to Chicken Island but could also be a future mini
This miniature will be unlocked when we break the backer count record from War for Chicken Island and the miniature will come with its Leader card for Kiwi Chow Down but also with a card to be played on War for Chicken Island.
We are counting on your massive and quick votation. If everything occurs as we imagine, maybe the next Sunday we'll be able to show you a surprise!

Hi Kiwi Tribe!
Time for another update! As you may know, the team always makes their best effort to read all your messages regardless of where they came from (Kickstarter, Facebook, Instagram, Discord, etcetera). We took all the info and put the most frequent questions in the FAQ section of the campaign.
We would like to change the following question: Which will be the difference with the retail version? For this one: Why back? Originally, we planned to launch the campaign for Kiwi Chow Down with a retail version and a deluxe version. At the end, we decided not to do this, and instead, place all our effort into bringing the best game we can achieve with your help. This strategy has already been proved twice with War for Chicken Island and Dodos Riding Dinos, and we're pretty sure that it is the best way to go with Kiwi Island.
So, the short answer for the difference between the "two" versions of the games is: at this point there's only this Kickstarter edition of the game, even though we could bring a retail version for Kiwi Chow Down in the future. Then, for answering the question, Why back? We've designed the following chart:
It's important to mention this will be a limited print run. With very few quantities for all languages with our localization partners. If you see a copy of Kiwi Chow Down, it will be a copy purchased by the retailers and localization partners that already are, or could join, in the campaign.

We got an updated quote from the probably chosen manufacturer for Kiwi Chow Down. So we can adjust some stretch goals and keep the excitement going on!

Which one is your favorite?
This exercise was beneficial for exploring new scenarios. We loved ideas like Kiwi Kai or Plague Doctor Kiwi that could be, who knows, present in the game. For now, tomorrow will receive the official Gnomosapiens sketches for the Kiwi-Chicken miniature based on your ideas and their creativity. For sure, you'll choose the one that will become a leader in Kiwi Chow Down!
Remember that the new miniatures will be playable in Kiwi Chow Down mainly but also on War for Chicken Island.
